Have you heard about the Chapel Hill RISE Flag Football League? It's a fantastic way for our kids to play sports right in our community. With games at Ephesus Elementary, the season runs from April through May, perfect for keeping them active when the weather warms up. The league is open for boys and girls from kindergarten up to 8th grade, with each child playing in a division according to their current school year. Games are set in a 6v6 format on a manageable 25 x 50 yard field, ensuring everyone gets plenty of playtime. Teams are made up of 6 to 10 players, which means no sitting on the bench! Practices are conveniently scheduled right before games on Sunday afternoons, so it's great if your kids are juggling other sports too. The community spirit comes alive here with volunteer coaches, mostly parents and trusted locals, making this a friendly and inclusive environment. Registration is super easy, and it's all about fun and fairness, with no tryouts or drafts.
