My name is Berlyn Compton, and I’ve always been someone who looks for the next challenge. I am a 3-sport athlete who plays tennis, flag football, and track. One of my proudest accomplishments was helping lead Munster’s inaugural girls’ flag football team to the IHSAA State Finals. I was honored to be named MVP by NCSA, nominated for NCSA Athlete of the Year (2026), and received the Scholar Athlete Award for flag football. My travel, club flag football team has also been invited to compete in the 2026 Junior Olympics this summer, and I’m excited for the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the country. Academics are just as important to me as athletics. I take all AP classes and maintain a high GPA. Outside of school and sports, I stay involved in Student Government, Choir, ASL club, Best Buddies, and volunteer regularly at my Church. I also like to spend my time hanging out with my friends and fishing. This summer, in addition to training with flag football and my other sports, I’m also working toward earning my pilot’s license through an aviation program. I hope to continue my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level, where I can contribute to a program that values hard work, leadership, teamwork, and excellence. I know I will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the determination to keep growing every day while making a positive impact on my team and my community.
