Hi, my name is Joslyn Cetina, and I am a 15-year-old freshman at Rocklin High School.
My football journey began with four years of tackle football being a team captain for two of them. I transitioned to flag football when a girls’ team became available. It has been an amazing experience getting to continue playing the sport I love on an equal playing field. Watching from the stands has always been exciting, but nothing compares to the passion I feel playing on the field. My ultimate goal in flag football is to compete at the collegiate level and eventually professional. When my time playing on the field ends I hope to continue on in the football world as a defensive flag football coach.
Academically, I maintain a 3.5 GPA while actively participating in multiple extracurriculars. Music is another passion of mine, I am a member of my school’s advanced women’s choir, serve on my church’s worship team, and have won national singing competitions. You can often find me performing the national anthem at Rocklin sports events or teaching in children’s ministry on Sunday mornings at my church.
Outside of football, music and teaching, I stay active through wrestling, track, and trap shooting, where I hold state titles in trap.
I’m always looking to connect with the flag football community, feel free to reach out!
