Kate Meier is a Class of 2029 girls' flag football quarterback at JSerra Catholic High School (San Juan Capistrano, CA) and the Conquer Chargers club (Irvine, CA). She is the starting quarterback for the team ranked No. 1 in the country by MaxPreps, winners of 51 straight games through Oct. 10, 2026.
In two varsity seasons, she has passed for 9,910 yards and 135 touchdowns and rushed for 719 yards and 26 touchdowns. Through 23 games in 2026 she has 6,181 passing yards and 77 touchdown passes on 72.5 percent passing, plus 604 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns. As a freshman, she helped JSerra go 28-0 and win the CIF Southern Section Division 1 title and the MaxPreps national championship.
Honors: 2025-26 MaxPreps All-American and First Team All-State; 2025 All-County and All-Trinity League second team; No. 14 on the MaxPreps Top 100 players to watch for 2026-27; Offensive MVP of the 2026 MaxPreps Flag Football Showdown (894 yards, 13 total touchdowns); MVP of the 2026 L.A. Chargers Invitational; two-time USA TODAY Top IX selection; two-time Orange County Register Athlete of the Week.
With the Conquer Chargers, she won the 2026 NFL FLAG 14U national championship and was named tournament MVP. She won silver with the 2025 USA Football 15U Girls’ National Team and was selected as an alternate for the 2026 17U team at age 15.
Kate started playing flag football in third grade, competing on boys’ teams before her league had girls’ teams. She also runs track at JSerra.
