About William Woods University Flag Football

Established in 2024, the William Woods University Women’s Flag Football program is quickly making a name for itself in the NAIA. Under the leadership of Head Coach Charlie Holloway, the team finished its inaugural season ranked in the Top 10 nationally.

Located in Fulton, Missouri, WWU offers athletes a competitive program with strong academic support. The team is built on character, commitment, and competition, focusing on developing leadership, skills, and success both on and off the field.

WWU Flag Football is proud to be part of the sport’s rapid growth and we’re just getting started.

Led team to back-to-back playoff appearances in the Texas Youth Flag Football League (TYFFL). Developed leadership and quick decision-making in high-pressure game situations.
  • Starting QB for three consecutive seasons (Spring '23, Fall '23, Spring '24)
  • Threw for 18 TDs and 3 INTs in Spring 2024 season
  • Helped offense average 29 points per game

Joined as a rotational athlete to gain experience in a multi-position offense with national-level competition.
