Age Divisions
All international teams are required to complete payment through Zorts at the time of registration.
As an international tournament, the registration page lists both Canadian and American age division terminology, along with the specific birth years for each division to help avoid confusion. For this event, we are using single birth-year divisions.
In the United States, divisions are commonly labeled using “Age and Under”, such as 15U (15 and under). In Canada, the same group is typically labeled U16 (Under 16). While the terminology differs, both refer to the same birth year group. For example:
• 15U (USA) = U16 (Canada) = Athletes born in 2011
When selecting a division for your team, please use the birth year of the oldest athlete on your roster.
• Athletes are permitted to play up in an older division.
• Athletes are not permitted to play down in a younger division.
If you are unsure which division is appropriate for your team, please feel free to reach out and we’re happy to help confirm before you complete registration.
We look forward to having your team join us for the tournament.
** Division formats are subject to change. Divisions may be merged closer to the tournament if registration numbers warrant it.
Age Verification & Fair Play Policy
To maintain a level playing field and ensure the integrity of our events, we require all participants to submit valid government-issued identification as part of the registration process. This may include a passport, birth certificate, or other official ID showing the player’s name and date of birth.
All documents are reviewed by our staff strictly for age verification purposes and are handled with care and confidentiality.
We kindly remind participants that accurate information is essential. Submitting altered or inaccurate documents may result in removal from the event, and in rare cases involving document falsification, we may be required to report the incident to the RCMP Fraud Division in accordance with federal guidelines.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
