Every Sunday this fall, Livingston High School becomes the home of girls flag football in North Jersey. GirlPower North Jersey welcomes girls from kindergarten through high school across Essex, Morris, Union, Passaic, Bergen, and the surrounding counties — whether she's picking up a football for the very first time or already loves the game. The eight-game season includes an official GirlPower jersey and a professionally organized game day experience, with every skill level welcome.
Football has always been woven into North Jersey's sports culture, from backyard games to Sundays cheering on the Giants and Jets — and now girls have a league built entirely for them. As part of the national GirlPower Flag Football network, the mission here goes beyond the scoreboard: build confidence, develop leadership, and create a community where girls encourage girls.
