About

Girls flag football is officially coming to the Upstate. GirlPower Greenville is launching an all-girls league for ages 5 to 18, giving girls across Greenville and the surrounding communities a football experience built entirely for them — no prior experience required. The league kicked off its arrival with a free girls' flag football clinic at Southside Christian School, and the response made one thing clear: Upstate girls are ready to play.

GirlPower Greenville is part of the national GirlPower Flag Football network, whose mission is simple — every girl plays, every girl has fun, and everything happens in a positive, encouraging environment. Football is the vehicle; confidence, leadership, and teamwork are what she takes home. With girls flag football gaining varsity recognition across the country, NCAA emerging-sport status, and a debut at the 2028 Olympics, there's never been a better time to get her in the game. Founding families who join now help launch girls flag football in Greenville from day one.
