The 225 Barbiez 10U team gives young female athletes in the Gonzales area something rare: an all-girls travel flag football team from the start. Girls ages 10 and under (typically 4th–5th grade) build the full skill set — route running, quarterback mechanics, flag-pulling technique, team defense — in an environment built entirely for them, with steady tournament reps against other girls travel programs. Every rep belongs to them: no getting overlooked, no waiting for touches.

Starting here matters. Girls flag football is now an LHSAA-sanctioned high school sport in Louisiana, with the Saints and the LHSAA pushing the sport statewide — and the athletes who reach varsity with years of travel experience will lead those rosters. The 225 Barbiez 10U is the first step on that path.
