The 225 Barbiez 12U is the competitive core of Cajun Heat's girls pipeline. Athletes ages 12 and under (typically 6th–7th grade) run an expanded playbook, train position-specific skills, and compete in tournaments against quality girls travel programs from across the region. The speed picks up here, and so does the accountability — rosters are tryout-earned and spots are limited.

The development target is clear: by the time these athletes age up, they should be ready to compete immediately at 13U and be tracking toward high school flag football. With the LHSAA now sanctioning the sport, every rep at 12U is building toward a varsity opportunity that didn't exist for Louisiana girls a few years ago.
