The 225 Barbiez High School team is the top of the Cajun Heat pipeline and the program's flagship, fielding athletes across the 16U and 18U divisions. Varsity-age players compete in travel tournaments against elite girls flag football programs from across the country, running advanced schemes and training at a level that complements — and elevates — their high school seasons. For athletes at schools still adding the sport, this team is their high-level home.
The ceiling keeps rising. Girls flag football is an LHSAA-sanctioned sport, colleges across the NAIA and NCAA are adding rosters and scholarships, and the sport debuts at the 2028 Olympics. Cajun Heat's High School team puts Louisiana athletes in front of that opportunity with the reps, the film, and the competition to chase it. One Team. One Family. Cajun Heat.
