The TruSkillz 10U team is where the pipeline starts — and it starts differently than most youth programs. Girls ages 9–10 (typically 4th–5th grade) train with the same position-specific structure as the program's championship-winning older teams: quarterbacks learn footwork and progressions, receivers learn route depth and hands technique, rushers and defensive backs learn angles and flag-pulling mechanics. Nothing is watered down; it's scaled, not simplified.
What makes 10U different from a rec league is the environment. These athletes get real tournament reps against travel competition while most girls their age are still playing coed park ball. They learn how to warm up, how to compete, how to lose a bracket game and respond — habits that compound over eight more years in the program. For a young athlete in the West Palm Beach area who's shown speed and loves the game, this is the on-ramp to elite girls flag football.
