World Flag Series Announces Rosters for WFS1
WFS1 brings professional women's flag football to Tampa July 25. Three teams, 30 athletes, 14 countries — and a new top to the pathway for young players.

Your daughter falls in love with flag football at 8. She plays youth ball, makes a competitive team, maybe earns a college roster spot. And then?
On July 25, that question gets a new answer. The World Flag Series launches WFS1 in Tampa — the first professional women's flag football event of its kind. Flag Football Finder will be there.
What Is WFS1?
WFS1 is the debut event of the World Flag Series, a new professional platform built specifically for flag football. Three teams. Thirty elite athletes. Fourteen countries.
The teams:
- Glitter Bombs — a deep American roster led by quarterback Lacey Abell, with Austin standout Lauren Clark and Cuban-American star Valerie Perez
- H.E.R. (Hustle Every Rep) — an international squad featuring Team Canada's Clara Beaudoin, Mexican stars Silvana Muñoz and Ale Juarez, Chilean trailblazer Natalia Olavarria, and quarterback Haylie Young
- Ice Queens — the most globally diverse roster at the event, led by quarterback Marlee Marquez alongside Australia's Kodie Fuller and Italy's Nausicaa Dell'Orto
These aren't exhibition players. These are national team athletes, international champions, and the players building the sport in their home countries.
Why This Matters for Youth Flag Football
Here's the thing about pathways: kids need to see the top of the mountain to believe the climb is worth it.
For a long time, girls flag football ended at high school. Then college programs started launching — first a trickle, now new schools announcing every week. Then flag football made the 2028 Olympics.
WFS1 adds the missing piece: a professional stage.
If you're a parent of a young athlete, this changes the conversation. The sport your kid plays on Saturdays now has a visible ceiling that keeps rising. Youth to club. Club to college. College to the pros and the Olympic stage.
That pathway is real now. It wasn't five years ago.
Why We're Going
Flag Football Finder exists to connect families with the sport — teams, camps, leagues, and college programs. The players competing at WFS1 started somewhere. Most of them started exactly where the kids on our platform are right now.
We're going to Tampa to see the top of the pathway we work at the bottom of every day. We'll be sharing what we see on Instagram throughout the event.
