Kansas City Heat High School teams bring together athletes from across the greater Kansas City area, creating a competitive environment built on talent, commitment, and a shared drive to improve. Though a newer addition to the Heat family, these teams are already making their presence felt — earning multiple tournament championships and producing upperclassmen with flag football scholarship offers from programs across the country, including Division I opportunities.
At this level, it’s about the work. Mastering the fundamentals. Getting consistent reps. Competing every day and finding ways to improve. That approach is what creates results — and opens doors.
Kansas City Heat High School teams are led by Head Coach Dustin Reffitt, who also serves as the head football coach for Park Hill South Girls Flag Football. His leadership brings a strong understanding of the high school game, with an emphasis on fundamentals, discipline, and player development. With experience at both the school and club levels, Coach Reffitt helps bridge the gap between development and competition, preparing athletes to succeed on Friday nights and beyond.
The mission is simple: develop, compete, and create opportunities to play at the next level.
