
Kansas City Heat is an elite girls flag football organization based in the Kansas City Metro area, proudly supported by the Kansas City Chiefs. Founded in 2023, the Heat has experienced explosive growth from a small local league to a nationally competitive program in less than two years. What started with just a few teams has rapidly expanded into tournament play across the country, competing at regionals, nationals, and championship-level events. Under the leadership of Head Coach Kevin Porter, Kansas City Heat fields competitive teams at the 12U, 14U, and 17U/High School divisions. The organization has collected dozens of tournament victories at sites across the nation and has earned qualification to the NFL Flag Championships in Canton, Ohio—with their Red team winning the KC Chiefs Regional Championship.
